Final event of the EEA and Norway Grants programme "Justice and Home Affairs" in Kaunas
On November 19, the final event of the EEA and Norwegian Financial Mechanisms Programme Justice and Home Affairs 2014–2021 was held in Kaunas. The event brought together leaders and representatives from the Ministry of Justice and the Lithuanian Prison Service to review the project's outcomes and achievements.
Ligita Valalytė, Chancellor of the Lithuanian Prison Service, along with a colleague from the Lithuanian Probation Service, presented the results of the project Development of a Quality-Based Lithuanian Correctional Service System. More information here.
Linas Nanartavičius, Deputy Director General of the Lithuanian Prison Service, participated in a panel discussion titled Change in the Justice System: Mission (Im)Possible?. The discussion featured representatives from various institutions and NGOs, fostering valuable exchanges of ideas and perspectives.
