The final conference of the project „LITHUANIAN CORRECTIONAL SERVICE SYSTEM: YES, WE CAN!“
The final conference of the project „LITHUANIAN CORRECTIONAL SERVICE SYSTEM: YES, WE CAN!“ under the Project „Development Of Quality Based Lithuanian Correctional Service System“ will take place in Vilnius on February 28th at 9:00 a.m.
The conference will provide an overview of the Norwegian-Lithuanian cooperation during the implementation of the program, the relevance of the project for Lithuania, the good practices and examples adopted, the challenges encountered, new methods of teaching and learning, and a roundtable discussion.
More than 100 experts from Lithuanian, Norwegian, Latvian, Polish, Romanian, and Bulgarian correctional services and NGOs will participate at the event. Mr. Ole Terje Horpestad, Ambassador of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Vilnius, and Ms. Ewelina Dobrowolska, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania, along with the Directors General of Lithuanian Prison Service and Lithuanian Probation Service, will deliver welcome speeches.
Simultaneous translation to English and Lithuanian will be provided for the conference. The conference will be live streamed on YouTube, you may also watch it live on Facebook of Lithuanian Prison Service.
