EuroPris Staff Wellbeing Workshop participants visit Vilnius prison
On 15 October, participants of the EuroPris Staff Wellbeing Workshop visited Vilnius Prison, operated by the Lithuanian Prison Service. During the visit, the participants became acquainted with the conditions of imprisonment, discussed initiatives aimed at improving staff wellbeing, and learned about the ongoing reforms being implemented within the Lithuanian correctional system.
The visit took place as part of the final EuroPris Staff Wellbeing Expert Group Workshop, which took place in Vilnius. The event marked a milestone as the first-ever EuroPris event hosted in Lithuania, bringing together approximately 50 representatives from various European countries. Throughout the workshop, participants exchanged experiences, insights, and practical tools for enhancing the physical and psychological wellbeing of prison staff.
