Curriculum and Further Actions Agreed at International PROMOTE Partner Meeting
On 12–13 May 2026, representatives from the Competence Development Department and the Planning and Projects Unit of the Lithuanian Prison Service participated in the third international partner meeting of the PROMOTE project — Promoting Integrated Professional Development for Prison Practitioners in Vocational Excellence for Offender Reintegration — held in Kaunas, Lithuania.
The meeting brought together project partners from several European countries to discuss the progress of the project, review the training programs currently under development, and present the e-learning platform and virtual simulations being created.
During the meeting, partners agreed on the structure of the training program, certification principles, and further project activities.
In the coming months, the project will finalize the development of training content and begin the implementation phase in partner countries.
The developed learning platform and training programs will contribute to strengthening the competencies of Lithuanian Prison Service staff and partners through innovative and practice-based learning solutions.
